Smoky Mountain Service Dogs: A Night for Patriots – SOLD OUT

“Smoky Mountain Service Dogs (SMSD) organization invites you to join us for “A Night for Patriots” event on Saturday, October 7, at 6:00 p.m., at The Venue at Lenoir City as SMSD launches our “More Wags for Warriors” building campaign to raise funds for the construction of a SMSD Veteran/Canine Training Center SMSD was blessed this year to have been selected by the American Valor Foundation as the recipient of the Chris Kyle Memorial Benefit that was held recently in Fort Worth, Texas. The American Valor Foundation was established by Wayne and Deby Kyle to honor the legacy of their son, Navy Seal Chris Kyle, the American Sniper. We are also honored to announce that John Becker, WBIR TV News Anchor and veterans advocate, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the event, which will include dinner, silent auction, and guest speakers will include SMSD recipients of our mobility assistance service dogs and Captain Bill Robinson (longest held enlisted POW of the war in Vietnam, over 7 ½ years.) Honored guests Wayne and Deby Kyle, parents of the Navy Seal Chris Kyle, will also speak and express their appreciation for SMSD and its mission to serve severely wounded Veterans.
